Dwelling on fear, taking things seriously and all jobs pay the same
Hi friend,
lets just get straight into it,
A reality of life: We dwell on fear
'If the diver always thought of the shark, he would never lay hands on the pearl'
Throughout life, you get put into unfamiliar and daunting situations, and usually when this happens, FEAR kicks in.
What is fear? an emotion that 'helps protect us', become more alert to any potential danger. And that's fine but us humans tend to dwell on fear, making it last far longer past the moment of danger. Making us anxious and a lot more hesitant.
I feel as if we are more fearful now then ever, let me explain
Life is much more relaxed. You have the information equivalent of 100,000+ books in the palm of your hand. Your hungry? you don't even need to get up to make food anymore. Your bored? Well, open social media and waste hours scrolling.
We're in an over-relaxed state, the activities that required effort, are done with no real thinking or reasoning, and because of this, humans have become fragile and more prone to emotion.
Now even the smallest of predicaments releases fear into our minds, and we then dwell, making the situation more unsettling than it actually is.
Know that fear will halt your ambitions and dilute your success. You can't be unsettled by every tiny predicament. Don't dwell on this emotion, instead acknowledge it, and move on with your life.
A piece of advice: Stop taking things so seriously
Eventually, you'll be forgotten. In a couple generations, no one will remember who you were or what you stood for. So let me ask you, why are you so intent on taking things so seriously?? Why does all this have to tug the strings of your heart?
Zoom out for a second and this planet is a speck your living on, So why are you giving your tiniest concerns such big weight?
Your alive, fathom it! You don't have time to take anything seriously. You need to make time to find something you love and pursue it. Find some joy instead of finding more problems.
Free yourself from these shackles of 'care' and for just a moment, don't 'care', see what it feels like...
A question to ponder upon
What job would you pursue if all jobs paid the same?
